Last Friday Pingree Grove & Countryside Fire Protection District held it Annual Awards Ceremony. Awards were given for Years Of Service, Personnel Accomplishments, Life Saving, Unit Citations and Outside Personel Commendations. This year ther were Nine diffrent Calls that Awards were given.

Highlights of the evening were:

-10 Years of Service: F/F Derick Kamayer

-Call #23-0130 January 27, 2023
Commendation Awards: Gilberts Police Officers Griffin and Yousif.

-Call #23-0754 May 9, 2023
Commendation Awards: Off Duty Burlington Firefighters Lind and Wallace and Kane County Sheriff's Deputies Douglas and Lapenna.

-Call Multiple Calls July 12, 2023
Unit Citations: Lt Bevins, F/F Bonilla, Capt Fehrman, F/F N. Howell, Lt Heinz, F/F Kamayer, F/F Keyes, F/F Lennox, F/F MacDonald,
F/F A. Stout, F/F Sutton and F/F Wonneberger.
Commendation Awards: Burlington Fireghters Bookman, Cumbo, Lind and Peach.

-Call #23-1162 July 17, 2023
Unit Citations and Life Saving Awards: F/F Abatangello, F/F D. Bevins, Lt D. Demes, F/F E. Demes, F/F Estrada, F/F Garcia, F/F Greene,
F/F MacDonald, F/F Newby, F/F Saccomanno, F/F Schraft and F/F Wangles.
Commendation Awards: LifeNet Helicopter Nurse Freidel, Nurse McLaughlin and Polit Wescott.
LifeNet Helicopter gave a suprise Award to the Pingree Grove Firefighters that are listed above. The Award was LifeNets Above & Beyond Award. This is the First Time LifeNet has give out this Award.
Alyssa Nelson was with us to meet the Personnel that took care of her on this call.

-Call #23-1346 August 14, 2023 (This Call was the Call of the Month for August at St Joe's Hospital)
Life Saving Award: F/F Bartlett, Lt Bevins, F/F Bonilla, F/F Keyes, F/F Lenox, F/F MacDonald, F/F Wilson, and F/F Wonneberger.

-Call #23-1548 September 19, 2023
Unit Citations: F/F Abatangelo, F/F Bonilla, Lt Heinz, F/F Newby, F/F MacDonald, F/F A. Stout and F/F Wonneberger.

-Call #23-1583 September 25, 2023 (This Call was the Call-of-the-Month for September at St Joe's Hospital)
Unit Citations: Lt Bevins, F/F Bonilla, F/F Keyes, F/F Lenox, F/F Haro, F/F Wilson and F/F Wonneberger.
Commendation Award: Burlington F/F Altman.

-Call #23-1743 October 23, 2023 (This Call was Call-of-the-Month for October at St Joe's Hospital)
Unit Citations, and Life Saving Awards: F/F Andre, F/F Bartlett, F/F Carlini, F/F Childers, F/F Cwik, F/F F/F Eiermann, F/F N. Howell,
F/F Rissman and F/F Wangles.
Commendation Awards: Hampshire FPD Lt DePauw, F/F Heckman, Chief Hermann, F/F Misner, F/F Morgan, F/F Porto and F/F Ribant. Lifenet Helicopter Nurse Freidel, Nurse McLaughlin and Pilot Sparkowski.
The Above Firefighters from Pingree Grove and Hampshire were Awarded The Medal Of Valor form the Kane County 100 Club in March for this call.
LifeNet Helicopter gave a surprise Award to the Pingree Grove and Hampshire Firefighters listed above. The award was LifeNets Above and Beyond Award.
The Sons of the American Revolution Awarded the Pingree Grove Firefighters a Life Saving Award for this call.
Kane County Deputy Brian Anderson was with us to meet the Personnel that took care of him.
