| At 4:47 pm, Pingree Grove & Countryside responded to a reported Field Fire South of Greenfield Road between Muirhead Rd and Bowes Bend Dr. On arrival, personnel found a Large Uncontrolled Field Fire. Hose lines were deployed, and Mutual Aid was requested. The Fire was under control at about 6:15 pm, and personnel remained on the scene until 7:00 pm. 10 to 15 acres of Forest Preserve property burned. The Fire is under investigation. Muirhead Rd and Greenfield Rd were closed for over 2 hours.
