Part Time Firefighter / Paramedic:

No Residency Requirements

Must Meet Minimum Qualifications to Apply:

• State Certified Firefighter II / Basic Operations Firefighter
• Licensed EMT-P with ability to test into St. Joesph EMS System
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Illinois Drivers License
• US Citizen

Pay and Benefits:

• Paramedic--$20.65 -- $21.95 per hour minimum, higher with certifications and shift work
• 457B Retirement Program, with District Contribution
• Life and ADA Insurance Provided
• Several Permanent Shift Slots Currently Available
• Annual Physical
• Paid Time Off and HRA  (Shift Work)

Part Time Firefighter / EMT-B:

No Residency Requirements

• State Certified Firefighter II / Basic Operations Firefighter
