This last Saturday & Sunday Pingree Grove & Countryside hosted Live Fire Training at the Elgin Community College Public Safety Center, in Burlington. Firefighters Trained in real Smoke and Heat Conditions, doing Hose Advancement, Fire Attack, Search & Rescue, and Removing Victims from the building. The evolutions involved Basement Fires and Fires in Taxpayer Buildings (Stores on the first Floor and Apartments above on the second floor). Also attending the Training were personnel from Burlington and Hampshire Fire Districts.
