Sunday at 12:35 pm, Pingree Grove & Countryside responded for a single Vehicle Accident on Route 20 West of Route 47. On arrival Personnel found a Vehicle v a Tree with Extrication. A Medical Helicopter was requested to the scene. Patient was extricated from the Vehicle and moved to a Pingree Ambulance. The Helicopter was unable to transport the Patient and he was transported to the Hospital with the Helicopter Flight Crew onboard the Ambulance. The scene was turned over to the Kane County Sheriff's Police. Route 20 was closed for over a hour and a half.
