Pingree Grove and Countryside Fire Protection District was just Awarded $20,480.00 in a grant From the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM). The Grant is for the purchase of Small Firefighting Equipment. Pingree Grove & Countryside's request was for Firefighting Bunker Gear, with this money we will be able to purchase 8 Sets of Bunker Coats and Pants. The State Awarded $4 Million in Grants and had $9.5 million requested. Pingree Grove & Countryside and Kaneville were the only Grants Approved in Kane County this year.
