Today at 12:50 pm Pingree Grove & Countryside responded for an accident with injuries on Big Timber Rd, East of the Rutland Forest Preserve. While enroute, companies were informed that a vehicle was on fire. On arrival companies found a two vehicle accident with one vehicle on fire and two patients, both were out of the vehicles. The fire was extinguished and both patients were transported to local hospitals. The scene was turned over to the police, and is under investigation. Big Timber Rd was closed for about an hour and a half.
