Last night at Appx 7:15 pm Pingree Grove & Countryside responded for a fire in the woods. On arrival, personnel found many scattered fires throughout the Pingree Grove Forest Preserve. The fires were back in the trees, with trees, piles of brush and wood burning. There were over 13 separate fires. The fires were under control in about 2.5 hours. Personnel were on the scene for 3 hours. Responding for Pingree Grove was Engine 1213, Tender 1223, Utility 1235, UTV 1230, and Chiefs 1201 & 1202. Assisting Pingree was Burlington Brush 1337 and Hampshire Brush1433.
