This morning Firefighter Debra Bevins led a fire safety program for the Kindergarten students at the Country Trails Grade School in Burlington School District 301. Firefighters Preston Childers, James Harkins, Dylan Peterson and Eric Wonneberger covered safety programs for “Calling 911”, “Stop, Drop, and Roll”, demonstrating putting on their fire gear, and crawling-low in smoke. Students also got a tour of the fire engine that included an “I Spy” game with fire fighting equipment.
