Pingree Grove and Countryside responded for a vehicle accident with extrication on Plank Road East of Route 47. On arrival companies found a two vehicle accident with heavy damage and one vehicle on fire. There were two patients transported to the hospital and the accident resulted in one fatality on the scene. The accident is still under investigation.

Responding for Pingree Grove was Medic 1251, Engines 1213 & 1216, Brush 1233 and Chiefs 1201 & 1202.

Assisting Pingree Grove was Hampshire Medic 1453 & Engine 1411, Elgin Medic 7 and the Kane County Sheriff's Department.
