The Pingree Grove Fire Protection District responded to a residential structure fire this afternoon at 15N848 Meadow Court, Hampshire. A M.A.B.A.S level 2 box alarm was used to obtain assistance from neighboring fire departments. The Algonquin, Bartlett, Burlington, Elburn, Elgin, East Dundee, Fox River, Hampshire, Huntley, Maple Park, and Rutland Dundee departments responded to the scene. The Dekalb and Streamwood departments provided crews to cover the other emergencies in the district. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
