Accident with Extrication

This morning at 6:16 am Pingree Grove & Countryside responded for an Accident with Extrication, on Rt 72 West of Thurnau Rd. On arrival personnel found a single vehicle off the road, on its roof and one patient. The patient needed Extrication and the Vehicle was in the culvert about 8 feet down from the roadway with a guardrail between the Vehicle and roadway. 1402 took Command and requested a Medical Helicopter dispatched to the scene. The Extrication took about 20 minutes. The patient was transported to a level One Trauma Center by Helicopter. The Accident is under investigation. Rt 72 was closed for an undetermined time.
