Today, the Pingree Grove and Countryside Fire Protection District took delivery of our new utility pickup truck 1235. The pickup was purchased from Bob Jass Chevrolet in Elburn. 1235 will be put in service in a few weeks after our Maintenance Department adds the Emergency Lights, Radio, Tools, lettering and logos. 1235 will be used for plowing, responding to emergencies with our trailers (Boat and UTV), hauling any large equipment and any other utility work that we need.
