Vehicle Accident with Injuries

Morning at 7:46 am Pingree Grove & Countryside responded to 43W478 for an Accident with Injuries. While enroute to this call we were dispatched at 7:52 am for a Second Call (Ambulance Request) On arrival Personnel found a 2 vehicle Accident with Heavy Damage, both Vehicles off the roadway, 3 patients and a Battery in one of the Vehicles on Fire. The Fire was Quickly Extinguished using a Dry-chem Extinguisher. 2 patients signed Medical Releases, and one patient was transported to a local hospital. The Accident is under investigation and the Westbound Lane on Rt 72 was closed for about an hour.
