This morning at 5:17 am Pingree Grove & Countryside responded for a Vehicle vs Pole in front of 43W319 Burlington Rd. On arrival Personnel found a single vehicle had hit an electric pole and broke it, with wires down and hanging low over the roadway. Com-Ed was notified. The single occupant was transported to the hospital. The accident is under investigation. The scene was turned over to Campton Hills P/D and Com-Ed. Burlington Rd was closed for about an hour.
